RAMALLAH, Monday, November 6, 2023 (WAFA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today condemned the call by the racist and fascist Israeli Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich to create a buffer and safe zones around the illegal West Bank settlements under false pretexts the aim of which is to steal more of Palestinian lands and annex them to the existing colonies and outposts to deepen and expand colonialism in the land of the State of Palestine.

Smotrich has called on the Israeli government and military not to allow Palestinians to reach their lands near the settlements to harvest their olive crops, an important source of income for thousands of Palestinian families.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that “the Israeli government, with such racist and incitement calls, reveals its intentions and the truth of its policy that it is implementing on the ground by destroying the Gaza Strip and displacing its residents to liquidate the Palestinian cause.”

It called on all countries to condemn this statement and take the necessary measures to stop settlement and the theft of Palestinian lands and money to protect what remains of the two-state solution.
