RAMALLAH, Friday, November 3, 2023 (WAFA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the heinous massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces against three hospitals in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of people,
It also condemned the targeting of an ambulance convoy that was transporting the wounded to the Rafah crossing in Egypt to receive treatment in Egyptian hospitals.
The Ministry, in a statement, slammed these massacres and crimes as the most heinous crimes against humanity committed in front of the eyes of the international community, especially countries that claim to adhere to the principles of human rights.
The ministry stressed that it had always warned against such crimes and the dangers resulting from targeting hospitals, ambulances, and their crews, including depriving even Palestinian patients of the opportunity to receive treatment.
The ministry said that it views with grave concern the occupation forces' persistence in targeting hospitals and committing more massacres against them, especially those that are still operating in the northern Gaza Strip.
It called on the international community and relevant UN and international organizations and bodies, especially the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), to assume their responsibility and provide protection to hospitals to enable them to perform their humanitarian tasks.
