NEW YORK, Tuesday, October 24, 2023 (WAFA) - UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Martin Griffiths, stressed the urgent need to bring fuel to the war-torn Gaza Strip as soon as possible.
The UN official stressed on his X account that: “The aid delivered to Gaza so far is barely making a dent. We need more, and we need it now.”
“We need it to include fuel. And we need it to go to civilians in need wherever they are. I can’t stress this enough,” he added.
