RAMALLAH, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 (WAFA) – American singer-songwriter Kehlani took it to her Instagram page to show full support and solidarity with Palestine amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

In a story posted on Instagram, the 28-year-old singer said: "Free Palestine till it's backwards,"

She also posted a video in which she called out other celebrities for remaining silent on what's going in Gaza.

"To my peers and people that are in the spaces I'm in, what the f**k is wrong with y'all?," she said. "You're being silent for the sake of money and business like that amounts to what the f**k is going on. There's an insane amount of unchecked privilege on literal f**king display, and it is gut-wrenching. It is disgusting."

In another post, she said "It's the way there isn't actually much of anything more important going on in humanity than this right now. This is an everybody issue. If you're just swiping through stories and expressing mere 'thoughts and prayers,' ask yourself why you aren't enraged. infuriated. I hope you feel ridiculous reading this."

Kehlani also changed her profile picture to a picture of the Palestinian flag colors with "I Stand With Palestine" written all over it.

The singer, whose most famous hits include "Good Life," "Nights Like This" and "Gangsta," attended a pro-Palestine protest downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, where she asked her followers to 'stand on the right side of history.

"I think it’s black and white, and you have a choice to see it or not… I want all my followers and peers to sit on the right side of history. I want them to make a decision that is larger than them. I want them to make an unselfish one. I want them to make an obvious one. And I just hope they choose to do the right thing. Imma keep reiterating that it’s not that complicated of a decision to make," she said.
