While a house was being demolished, other Palestinian homeowners receive Israeli demolition orders

JERICHO, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation authorities today handed 20 demolition orders for homes owned by Palestinians in al-Diyouk village, west of the ancient West Bank city of Jericho, while bulldozers were demolishing a two-story house in the village under the pretext of building without a permit, according to local sources.

They said the army demolished this morning a two-story building in the village owned by a resident of occupied East Jerusalem and then handed 20 other homeowners demolition orders for their buildings, some of them built more than five years ago and owned by Palestinian residents of Jerusalem.

The village has been the site of the demolition of seven homes since the start of the year, six were demolished on January 25 and a villa was demolished on January 10.
