NABLUS, October 1, 2026 (WAFA) — Five Palestinians, including a 70-year-old woman, suffered suffocation today during a raid by Israeli occupation forces on Awarta town, southeast of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent in Nablus said ambulance crews treated five people who suffered suffocation after Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters in the town.
Local sources said Israeli colonists attacked homes on the outskirts of Awarta under the protection of occupation forces, who fired live ammunition heavily and launched tear gas canisters.
