HEBRON, October 1, 2026 (WAFA) — Armed Israeli colonists today surrounded two Palestinian homes in the Khallet Al-Hummus hamlet, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.
Samir Mohammad Obeid, the owner of one of the targeted homes, told WAFA that a group of colonists from the Susiya colony and from a colonial outpost established about four months ago on Palestinian land near Khallet Al-Hummus surrounded his home and another house in the area. They began dismantling and confiscating window and door protections.
Obeid said the colonists took advantage of his absence, along with his family of eight, to enter and surround his home, and are currently preventing them from reaching it.
He added that the colonists also surrounded the home of Khairi Abu Tuhfa, where his family of five remains inside, preventing them from leaving.
