JERUSALEM, Thursday, October 20, 2022 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces raided today the funeral house of Udai Tamimi, a Palestinian young man who was shot dead yesterday by the forces outside the Israeli settlement of Maale Adumim, according to local sources.
Witnesses said an Israeli police force broke into the funeral house, which was held in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, and forced tاhe funeral to end.
Tamimi, a resident of the Shufat refugee camp in Jerusalem, had been at large for over ten days after allegedly killing an Israeli soldier and injuring another in a drive-by shooting at the Shufat checkpoint on Oct. 8.
He was reportedly shot dead in an exchange of gunfire last night with Israeli army and police outside Maale Adumim settlement, east of occupied Jerusalem.
A one-day strike is being observed today across the occupied West Bank in honor of him.
