RAMALLAH, September 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Wednesday night set fire to land located near Palestinian residents’ homes on the outskirts of the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, local sources reported.

Sources said that the colonists set fire to land near Palestinian homes on the outskirts of the village, causing the flames to spread across the area.

For years, the village of Burqa has faced repeated attacks by colonists amid a proliferation of colonial outposts in its vicinity. The attacks on the village’s lands have included the burning of crops and agricultural land, the uprooting of trees, and assaults on Palestinians and their property, in an attempt to impose a fait accompli on the ground and force landowners to abandon their lands.
