RAMALLAH, Wednesday, October 19, 2022 (WAFA) – Foreign Minister Riyad Malki today welcomed the decision of the European Parliament to continue to provide assistance to the Palestinian people without conditions.

The European Parliament today voted to continue to provide assistance to the Palestinian people without conditions after a group of European conservatives had submitted to Parliament a draft resolution calling for the seizure of €30 million of the European Union's aid to the Palestinian people under the pretext of incitement in the school textbooks.

Malki thanked the EP members whom he said have, for the fifth consecutive time, defeated attempts by the pro-Israel lobby to impose conditions on European aid to the Palestinians, considering it a victory for the just Palestinian cause and another defeat for the lobby that incited against the Palestinians and their education system.
