Foreign ministry condemns Israeli army's killing of Palestinian teenager north of Hebron

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 (WAFA) - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli army’s killing of an 18-year-old Palestinian at the entrance to al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.

The ministry in a statement slammed this new crime as part of the daily series of Israeli killings carried out against the Palestinian people, with Israeli political-level approval.

It held the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for this crime, calling on the international community to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.

It further called upon the International Criminal Court to immediately start its investigations into the crimes of the occupation and its settlers.

Usama Mahmoud Adawi, 18, was shot in the abdomen by multiple bullets fired by Israeli forces during clashes in Arroub camp and later died at hospital.
