CORK, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 (WAFA) - The Cork City Council, in Ireland, expressed its abhorrence at the practice of Apartheid by Israel.

The Cork City Council noted in a statement Amnesty International’s recent investigation into the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestine and the Palestinian people, recognizing that this report notes that: ‘Israel imposes a system of oppression and domination against Palestinians across all areas under its control: in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, and against Palestinian refugees.’

‘This amounts to apartheid as prohibited in international law,’ it said.
