JERICHO, Sunday, September 11, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian construction contractor and confiscated three cement tankers today in the village of Ein ad-Duyuk at-Tahta, near the city of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Mohammad Ghrouf, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that an Israeli army force Steih neighborhood in the village and detained Mohammad Thaher, a construction contractor, and confiscated two cement tankers after forcing their drivers to pour the cement out of them.
Ghrouf pointed out that the Israeli occupation authorities are clamping down on Palestinian construction in the area in order to establish a security zone separating Palestinian communities from neighboring colonial Israeli settlements.
