BEIRUT, January 9, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on Friday targeting areas in southern and eastern Lebanon.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, Israeli fighter jets launched intense air raids on the area between the towns of Kfarfila and Ain Qana, as well as on the area between Al-Reihan and Sajd in the Jezzine district.
The airstrikes also targeted a valley between Deir al-Zahrani and Houmine al-Fawqa, in addition to the highlands of the Brital outskirts in the Nabi Ismail area.
