Occupation forces round up 16 Palestinians in Jerusalem
Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

JERUSALEM, Sunday, January 30, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today and last night arrested 16 Palestinians in a wide-scale military campaign in occupied Jerusalem and its outskirts, according to local sources.

Israeli Police stormed the neighborhood of al-Isawiya where they arrested seven Palestinians, including two brothers, after raiding and searching their homes.

Another six Palestinians were arrested by Israeli Police which raided their homes in the neighborhood of Al-Tour in the city.

Meantime, Israeli occupation forces broke into the town of Hizma, to the northeast of the city, and arrested three Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military occupation regime.
