RAMALLAH, Monday, September 21, 2020 (WAFA) – The heat stress affecting the region is set to ease today, causing temperature to drop to 2°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Weather is mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot in other districts. Light to moderate northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Tuesday’s temperature is set to slightly drop with partly cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts, especially in the morning hours, and relatively hot conditions in other districts.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to further slightly drop and become seasonal, with partly cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively hot conditions in other districts.
A further drop is expected in temperature on Thursday, with partly cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively hot conditions in other districts.
