RAMALLAH, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 (WAFA) – As the rulers of the two Arab countries, the United Arab Emirate (UAE) and Bahrain, get ready to sign in Washington later today two normalization of relations agreements with Israel, Palestinians in the occupied territories and elsewhere in the world and their supporters are planning demonstrations and protest rallies.

In the occupied areas, protests are planned in the major cities throughout the day with a central rally planned in Ramallah, the de facto capital of the Palestinian Authority, when the signing ceremonies take place in the evening.

Protest activities are also planned at various cities around the world, but mainly outside the White House in Washington by opponents of the agreements.

Some 50 US, Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic organizations have called for a demonstration in Washington to coincide with the signing ceremonies to express their opposition to the agreements.
