RAMALLAH, Monday, September 14, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is relatively hot in mountainous areas and hot to very hot in the rest of the country, with a slight drop in temperature, which yet remains above the seasonal average by 2°C, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly to westerly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
However, the heatwave is expected to gradually return starting tomorrow, Tuesday, and continues through Thursday with a rise in temperature to become 5°C above the average, said the PMD.
