RAMALLAH, Saturday, September 12, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is hot to very hot as temperature remains above the seasonal average by 5°C, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly to westerly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 22°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 32°C and a low of 21°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 41°C and a low of 29°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A relief in the heatwave is expected for Sunday with a drop in temperature, which remains 3°C above the average.
A further drop in temperature by one degree is expected on Monday.
However, the heatwave is expected to return on Tuesday with a rise in temperature by 4°C, said the PMD.
