RAMALLAH, Saturday, August 22, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to clear and mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot to hot in other districts with no change in temperature, which remains around the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are light to moderate, southwesterly to northwesterly, occasionally gusty and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A slight rise in temperature is expected on Sunday, and again on Monday to settle on Tuesday at 2°C above the seasonal average, said the PMD.
