RAMALLAH, August 20, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to clear and mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot to hot in other districts in daytime with slightly unseasonably high temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather tonight is partly cloudy and mild in mountainous districts, and relatively hot to hot in other districts. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s temperature is set to slightly drop and become seasonal, paving the way to mainly clear and relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and mild to warm conditions in nighttime.
No significant change in the weather is expected on Saturday.
Sunday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 2°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to relatively hot conditions in mountainous districts and hot to very hot conditions in other districts.
