RAMALLAH, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians have died today of coronavirus, raising the total number of corona-related fatalities in Palestine to 126, according to the Ministry of Health.
It said a 34-year-old man and an 80-year-old man from the West Bank have passed away after contracting the disease.
A total of 114 of the corona victims come from the West Bank, mainly the Hebron district, one in the Gaza Strip and 11 in East Jerusalem.
There are over 23,000 corona cases recorded in Palestine since the outbreak of the disease in March, of whom almost 13,800 have recovered, according to Palestinian Ministry of Health COVID-19 statistics.
