RAMALLAH, Monday, August 17, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is abundantly sunny and relatively hot in mountainous districts and hot to very hot in other districts in daytime with a slight rise in temperature which approaches 3°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Partly cloudy and mild to relatively hot conditions are expected in nighttime. Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 42°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Tuesday’s temperature is set to slightly drop, paving the way to a relief in the heat stress.
No significant change in weather is expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
