RAMALLAH, Sunday, August 16, 2020 (WAFA) – Minister Ahmad Assaf, the Chairman of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation and the General Supervisor of the Official Media, and Minister of Education Marwan Awartani discussed today the launch of an Arabic-speaking educational satellite channel.

During a meeting at the PBC headquarters in Ramallah, both ministers agreed on immediately launching the satellite channel, in cooperation between the PBC and the Ministry of Education.

Minister Assaf said that at the orders of President Mahmoud Abbas, he has instructed the competent authorities to provide the necessary requirements for this project, necessitated by the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting partial shutdown of schools.
