RAMALLAH, Saturday, August 15, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy and relatively hot in mountainous districts and hot to very hot in other districts during the day with a slight rise in temperature, which approaches 3°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly, active occasionally and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 42°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another rise in temperature by one degree is expected for tomorrow, Sunday, which drops again on Monday by one degree and another drop by one degree on Tuesday, said the PMD, which warned people against direct exposure to sunlight for long hours, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grass.
