RAMALLAH, Wednesday, August 12, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot to hot in other districts in daytime with a slight rise in temperature which remains unseasonably low, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather is mild to slightly cold in mountainous districts and warm in other districts in nighttime. Moderate to active westerly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

An additional slight rise in temperature is expected on Thursday, paving the way to relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and mild to warm conditions in nighttime.

Friday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 3°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and warm to mild conditions in nighttime.
