RAMALLAH, Tuesday, August 11, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to clear and mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot in other districts with steady temperature which remains 2°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A slight chance of drizzle in the north is expected. Moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts in the evening and night. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 26°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to slightly rise with partly cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively hot to hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Weather is mild to slightly cold in mountainous districts and warm in other districts in nighttime.
An additional slight rise in temperature is expected on Thursday, paving the way to relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and mild to warm conditions in nighttime.
Friday’s temperature is set to further rise and become seasonal, paving the way to relatively hot to hot conditions in daytime and warm to mild conditions in nighttime.
