RAMALLAH, Monday, August 10, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather in Palestine today is partially cloudy and moderate in the mountainous areas, hot in the other districts as temperature remains below its seasonal average by 2°C and slight chance of light rain on some regions, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are moderate to active, westerly to northwesterly, and sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No change in temperature or weather conditions is expected for tomorrow, Tuesday, said the PMD, but a slight rise in temperature is expected for Wednesday, which nevertheless remains below average.
Another rise in temperature is expected for Thursday to become slightly above the annual average, said the PMD.
