RAMALLAH, Thursday, August 06, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is hot in most districts with a slight rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly, occasionally active and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A rise in temperature is expected for tomorrow, Friday, to become 3°C above the seasonal average.

Temperature is expected to drop on Saturday and becomes 2°C above the average, and drops again on Sunday to become around the annual average, said the PMD, which warned people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grass.
