RAMALLAH, Tuesday, August 04, 2020 (WAFA) – A slight drop in temperature is expected today but conditions remain very hot in most areas and wind is westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally active and sea waves are low, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Another drop in temperature is expected tomorrow, Wednesday, to become around the annual average, but gradually rises again on Friday and Saturday with very hot conditions dominating the region, said the PMD, which warned against long exposure to direct sunlight and against setting fire to dry grass.
