Weather: Hot with a rise in temperature in most of the Palestinian territories
Hot and sunny weather expected today in Palestine.

RAMALLAH, Saturday, July 25, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is mainly clear and hot in Palestine with a rise in temperature, which approaches 4°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly wind is expected and low sea waves.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 22°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 28°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A significant rise in temperature is expected for tomorrow, Sunday, to become 7°C above the annual average.

Temperature, however, drops on Monday and Tuesday by two degrees to become around 5°C above the average, said the PMD, which warned people against direct exposure to the sunlight for long period, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grass areas.
