RAMALLAH, Monday, July 20, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear and hot to very hot in most areas with a slight drop in temperature, which remains 4°C above the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate and occasionally active. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 22°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 23°C and a low of 21°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 41°C and a low of 28°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature drops slightly tomorrow, Tuesday, and on Wednesday, yet remains 3°C above the average, but rises again on Thursday to become 4°C above the seasonal average, said the PMD, which warned against direct exposure to sunlight for a long period, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry grass.
