RAMALLAH, Saturday, July 18, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear and hot to very hot in most areas with a rise in temperature to become 3°C above the average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly wind with occasional gust is expected and low sea waves.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 28°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another rise in temperature is expected, tomorrow, Sunday, to approach 5°C above the seasonal average.

Temperature drops slightly on Monday to become 4°C above the average and again on Tuesday to become 3°C above the average, said the PMD, which warned people against direct exposure to the sunlight for long period, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, during the heat wave and setting fire to dry grass.
