RAMALLAH, November 27, 2012 (WAFA) –Late leader Yasser Arafat’s grave was opened on Tuesday at al-Muqata'a, in Ramallah, to take samples from his remains as part of the investigation into the reasons behind his death.
The grave was opened during a military ceremony and without any media coverage. It will be re-closed later today.
Tawfiq Tirawi, head of committee investigating the death of Yasser Arafat, said that “we are convinced Israel assassinated Arafat… and no matter what the results given by Russian, Swiss and French experts will be, the case will remain open.”
