RAMALLAH, November 6, 2012 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies Tuesday highlighted President Mahmoud Abbas meeting with Arab League Secretary-General Nabil al-Arabi where they discussed the Palestinian bid to the United Nations.
The three papers printed photos of Abbas and al-Arabi during their meeting in Amman on Monday.
Al-Ayyam reported on the Ministry of Finance stating that it is too soon to set a date for paying salaries of public employees.
The dailies focused on a 21-year-old Palestinian, who was shot in the Gaza Strip and was left to bleed to death without granting access to ambulance to rescue him.
Al-Quds reported on Israeli Foreign Minister Avidgor Lieberman pressuring European countries to prevent the Palestinian Authority from seeking a non-member state status at the UN.
It featured a report by B’Tselem, the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, stating that the Apartheid Wall is illegal and 85% of the wall lies within territories occupied in 1967.
