JENIN, June 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces forcibly evicted several Palestinian residents from their homes in the town of Jaba, south of Jenin, early Tuesday morning, according to local sources.
Large numbers of Israeli troops stormed the town, deploying infantry units along the main road and on its outskirts. In the Abu al-Hour neighborhood, soldiers raided multiple homes, ordering residents to evacuate and barring them from returning for the next 72 hours.
Sources added that the military also stormed homes in the town center, conducting extensive searches, destroying property, and imposing a de facto curfew on the area.
In parallel, the Israeli military sent additional reinforcements, including armored vehicles, to the area of Tarsala, located between Jaba and Sanur. The site, once home to an Israeli colony evacuated in 2005.
