BEIJING, September 7, 2011 (WAFA) – Chinese Foreign Minister, Yang Jiechi, Wednesday said in a press release that China supports the Palestinians' bid to the United Nations and their struggle to restore their legitimate rights.
Jiechi said, “China believes that establishing an independent Palestinian state within 1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital, is an inalienable matter and a main condition for Palestinian-Israeli co-existence.”
He affirmed China’s respect and understanding of the Palestinian bid to the United Nations and the efforts being made to reach this goal, especially peaceful negotiations with Israel.
