GAZA, April 18, 2011 (WAFA) – The Hamas ministry of interior published on Monday pictures of three people it said were wanted for their alleged role in the killing of Italian activist Vittorio Arrigoni.
Arrigoni, a pro-Palestinians member of the International Solidarity Movement, was kidnapped by a Muslim Salafist group in Gaza on Thursday. His kidnappers asked for the release of their spiritual leaders from Hamas jails. However, they killed Arrigoni hours later even before the deadline for their demands had expired.
Hamas identified the three as a Jordanian and two Palestinians and called on people who see them to inform its security forces of their whereabouts.
The Jordanian was identified as Muhammad Al-Breizat, also known as Muhammad Hassan, and the other two as Bilal Al-Omari and Muhammad Al-Salfiti. Hamas described Al-Breizat and Al-Omari as “the most wanted for justice.”
Hamas had strongly condemned the killing as an act by “suspicious and ideologically deviant group.”
