BEIRUT, June 5, 2026 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its attacks on southern Lebanon on Friday, leaving casualties and causing widespread destruction to buildings and infrastructure.
Airstrikes targeting the towns of Habboush, Borj Qalaouiyeh, Doueir, and Deir ez-Zahrani killed five people and injured several others, according to local reports.
The Israeli army also issued urgent evacuation threats to residents of several towns, including Sarafand, Tafahata, Babliyeh, Qaqaait al-Sanawbar, Marwaniyeh, Aarnaya, Aanqoun, and Kafr Fila, prompting large-scale displacement of residents.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes and artillery shelled numerous areas across southern Lebanon, including Tyre, Nabatieh, as well as the towns of Frun, Ghandouriyeh, Kafr Remman, Kafra, Aaramta, Reihan, Aanqoun, Kfar Fila, Qlaileh, Toul, Tebnine, Kfar Tebnit, Choukin, Adoussiyeh, Majdal Zoun, Harouf, Aabba, Habboush, Zebdine, Kafr Dounine and Jibchit.
