Occupation forces raid home in Deir Dibwan after residents confronted colonists’ incursion

RAMALLAH, June 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Friday stormed the home of a Palestinian citizen in the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, and confined its residents to one room after they confronted an attempt by colonists to break into the house, said local sources.

Sources reported that the family of citizen Akram al-Za’arir confronted a group of colonists who attempted to storm their home near the northern entrance of Deir Dibwan. In response, Israeli occupation forces raided the house and confined those inside to a single room.

The occupation forces also confiscated surveillance camera recordings and forced citizens to remove stones placed on the roof of the house to protect it from colonists’ attacks.

In the same context, eyewitnesses said that several colonists attempted to steal sheep from the farm of another local citizen in the Sheikh Ammar area southeast of Deir Dibwan, but residents managed to prevent the attempt.
