HEBRON, June 5, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was seriously wounded by Israeli army gunfire and another was injured in an assault by Israeli colonists on Friday in the al-Jalatiya area, east of the town of Idhna, west of Hebron.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its crews treated two injuries in the area. One man sustained two gunshot wounds to the abdomen and was reported to be in critical condition, while another suffered injuries after being physically assaulted by colonists.

The incident comes amid escalating colonist attacks in al-Jalatiya. Earlier in the day, colonists continued plowing Palestinian-owned land in the area for a second consecutive day.

They also raised Israeli flags, blocked access roads with dirt mounds and stones, and prevented residents from reaching their lands in an attempt to seize the area.
