NEW YORK, June 5, 2026 (WAFA) – The Arab Group at the United Nations on Friday called on the international community to take decisive measures in response to Israeli violations in Palestine.
In a statement delivered by Saudi Arabia’s UN Ambassador Abdulaziz Alwasil during a press conference at the UN Security Council, the group rejected all measures aimed at altering the status of the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem.
The statement cautioned that Israel is expanding settlements and fragmenting Palestinian rights, warning against continued escalation in the Gaza Strip and rejecting any attempts at displacement or forced transfer of Palestinians.
The Arab Group urged the international community to adopt firm decisions addressing ongoing violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
