BETHLEHEM, September 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists on Friday night uprooted dozens of olive trees in the al-Maniya village area, southeast of Bethlehem, and assaulted a woman in Aqaba, south of Nablus.

Ahmed Kawazbeh, head of the al-Maniya Village Council, told WAFA correspondent that colonists uprooted dozens of olive trees in the al-Qarn area, belonging to residents from the al-Jabbarin and al-Mutawwar families.

It is worth noting that colonists recently established an outpost in the al-Qarn area, and the uprooting of the trees is part of ongoing attempts to empty agricultural land and seize it for colonial purposes.

Meanwhile, local sources said that colonists assaulted a woman as she was returning home in the southern area of Aqaba, south of Nablus, and sprayed pepper spray in her face.
