JORDAN VALLEY, September 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists on /Friday evening attacked Palestinian herders in the al-Sakout area in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a local activist.
Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh said that the colonists chased and assaulted herders in the al-Sakut area.
Various areas of the northern Jordan Valley have been subjected to daily and escalating attacks by colonists, including the pursuit and assault of herders, as well as attacks on residents’ homes and acts of intimidation.
As a result of escalating colonist violence, several communities in the Jordan Valley have been forcibly displaced over the past three years.
