RAMALLAH, September 23, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces raided the town of Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem, and the city of al-Bireh after midnight.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces entered Kafr Aqab and patrolled its streets before withdrawing toward al-Bireh.
The forces then raided the Um al-Sharayet and al-Jinan neighborhoods in al-Bireh, as well as al-Am'ari refugee camp, firing stun grenades. No injuries or arrests were reported.
