RAMALLAH, April 13, 2011 (WAFA) - Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) monitored incitement and racism against Palestinians and Arabs published by the Israeli media between April 2 and 9.
Dudu Elharar wrote an inciting article titled “Deadly Hatred of Gaza” published on (NFC) website, saying that Israel must occupy and take control of the entire Gaza Strip, in addition to destroy all armories.
Under the title “Another Historic Mistake” ,Moshe Eldad published ana article in Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper’s website (Ynet News) , in which he said: “according to the United Nations and European Union officials cooperating with the American administration estimates that the Palestinian Authority (PA) is closer than ever to gain international recognition as an independent state”.
He added that as long as the Palestinians ‘perform as expected’ Mahmmoud Abbas will be able to declare himself president of the independent state of Palestine.
He also said that “the near period will be a real test for the Palestinian leadership and people. Abbas and Fayyad will be tested on their ability to lead a historic turning point within the Arab society in the West Bank. Indeed it will not be easy for who continuously praised Palestinian martyrs and named squares after ‘the Israelis’ murderers’ in the recent months, to suddenly turn into peace advocates ‘as if they were Mother Teresa’s brothers!’.
However, the two figures have no choice but to determine a national alternative that replaces the PA with a State and a socio-economic alternative that replaces Hamas in Gaza”.
After more than two weeks of Itamar murder, Meir Brettler urged in his article titled “Palestinians are Human Monsters” and published on the (NFC) website, the Israeli army and settlers of the West Bank’s settlements to take revenge for those who were killed in Itamar.
He classified the revenge into three kinds: 1. revenge for people; for their pain and suffering caused by Palestinians and Arabs.
2.for land; through building more on our land (Israel’s land) and raising our population.
3. for our blood; revenge from the terrorist Arab killers and their supporters.
He added the surrounding villages of Itmar and Itzhar settlements; such as Huwarah, Burin, Beit Fouriq, Asira and Awarta brought up human monsters who killed many Jews.
David Baden wrote an inciting article called “Israeli Government’s Policies against Palestinian incitement, really!”; in which he criticized the Israeli government’s measures that doesn’t call on donor countries to reconsider or freeze their support to the Palestinian educational system.
Israeli Minister, Moshe Ya’alon, said that there are specific lessons in the textbooks that teach armed struggle, and preach for the participation in Jihad to liberate all Palestine, praise the martyrs who killed Jews and erase any mentioning of an Israeli state; every Israeli city is a Palestinian one, the map of Palestine replaces map of Israel. Furthermore, the educational system calls on achieving the Right to Return.
He added resentfully: “Meanwhile, on the same day the Israeli government declared war on the Palestinian educational system, The security system authenticated a permission to the European Union for the construction of 30 schools belonging to UNRWA in Gaza, without any condition to stop incitement against Israel!”
He also said, “as for the PA’s Broadcasting Authority, let us remember that the frequencies belong to Israel. Israel provided frequencies to the PA only to use them for ‘peace’ which is not doing that.
Yonatan Yosef, the grandson of Shas spiritual leader (Ovadia Yosef )and spokesman of ‘Shimeon HaTzadik’s compound (in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood), in East Jerusalem, wrote an article titled ‘Must Neutralize Lies and Conflict with Arabs’ On Maariv newspaper’s website (NRG), in which he denied Deir Yassin’s massacre in 1948 by Zionist groups, claiming that it is ‘just a lie’ invented by the Israeli leftists in response to the Hadassah convoy in which Jewish doctors and nurses were killed.
Yosef added, “those who rejected the partition resolution, initiated a war to exterminate the Jewish community in the Land of Israel, are called ‘innocent!’ Everything in their impure struggle is to prove that the State of Israel committed and still committing crimes. The one who started the war of genocide is a resident of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, al-Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini; Hitler’s partner”.
“we came to the country to be free they came to occupy, we came to live they came to kill”, he said.
Cello Rosenberg’s article ‘Before Gaza Bury Us’, published on NRG website criticized the Israeli government’s policy and described it stupid for its failure to adopt serious measures against Gaza, claiming that “No sane person could explain this horrible equation; Israel get struck by rockets from Gaza, however it still follows a stupid policy, that allows the entry of goods through the open land crossings”.
He asserted that Gaza is a dangerous place which Israel needs to get rid of, adding that Israel will respond by destroying infrastructure and inhabited facilities as well as assassinating leaders to any rocket fired at it from the Gaza strip.
As for the murder of Juliano Mer-Khamis, WAFA monitored these hostile articles: Yehuda Drori’s article titled ‘Juliano was both brave and stupid’, which was published on NFC website after Mer’s death in Jenin refugee camp.
Drori said that he has no doubt that Juilano was a victim of murderers representing the group of people who he tried to help. Simply he lived among snakes and one of them stung him to death.
“At that time I respected Juliano, whom I think was brave and stupid; as he believed he can work within people who lives on incitement and hatred, people whose culture Sanctifies death more than life”, he said.
Dudu Elharar claimed that the death of Juliano proves that co-existence between Arabs and Jews based on compromise, mutual trust or justice is a fantasy, in his article “Precedent Juliano Mer Khamis” published on (NFC).
“Juliano was an amazing controversial artist, broke boundaries, fought for the Palestinian Right, fought against Israel and ‘occupation’ and died on the hands of those whom he fought for”,he said.
