NEW YORK, September 23, 2010 (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas welcomed Thursday what U.S. President Barack Obama said to the UN general assembly regarding the two-state solution and the freeze of settlement activities as well his great hope of the establishment of the Palestinian state to be new full member of the UN.

President Abbas affirmed his full readiness to achieve just and permanent solution of the Palestinian- Israeli conflict, as well his readiness to cooperate with the American efforts to make of the peace process a success.
