Colonists destroy agricultural lands in Aqraba, south of Nablus

NABLUS, July 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists carried out a large-scale act of destruction overnight in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinian agricultural property, according to local sources.

Salah Jaber, mayor of Aqraba, told WAFA that the colonists uprooted over 100 olive trees and sabotaged water tanks, metal gates, fences, and a farm reservoir in the southern part of the town.

The attack targeted multiple plots of farmland totaling approximately 40 dunums (around 10 acres), located along the road between Aqraba and Majdal Bani Fadil. All affected lands are privately owned by residents of Aqraba.

Jaber also noted that this is not the first act of sabotage in the area. In a previous incident, colonists deliberately destroyed the water and telecommunications networks that supply seven villages south of Aqraba.
