JERICHO, July 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists raided  the village of Shallal Al-Auja, north of Jericho, on Saturday, herding their livestock through residential neighborhoods, according to local sources.

Hassan Mleihat, general coordinator of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said the colonist incursions have become a daily occurrence, typically in the morning and evening, causing damage to private farmland and grazing area.

“These activities are carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces,” Mleihat noted, warning of rising tensions and a sense of insecurity among local residents.

He further denounced the lack of effective intervention from relevant authorities to protect the village and its inhabitants, saying this ongoing negligence continues to exacerbate the suffering of Palestinian communities in targeted areas.
