GAZA, July 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Seven Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday as Israeli warplanes launched new airstrikes targeting residential areas in Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli airstrike hit a home belonging to the Yassin family near Al-Shafi'i Mosque in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City. The attack resulted in the killing of seven civilians and injured several others.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces also targeted a group of Palestinians in the Al-Mashahra area of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, causing additional injuries.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,882 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 138,095 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
